The two Petland stores have awful customer service, from overtalking the customer trying to ask questions to all have smart comments and remarks...they have a lack of effective listening skills and professionalism....they all talk to one another while you are waiting for a amanger and become aggressive and hostile....they are not trying to make resolutions for customers, only thing they care about is saying what they want....they believe because they are not part of corporate stores that it is okay to talk to people any kind of way...I will not be shopping at any more Petlands....I purchase all my pet supplies there and have never been treated so rudely.......they don't care about people being disabled....but they have the nerve to say they support the Make A Wish foundation since 1994, they need to provide training for managers, supervisors on how to talk to people.....Rome GA Brenda, Sam and Danielle you are not the type of people who need to be in management or in sales...too rude....that's how businesses lose money for lack of effective communication...the funny part they claim that the calls are recorded and monitored......
Their customer service was very friendly and respectful. A lot better then other Petland’s in Our area.
Purchased a puppy here with a "warranty" requiring me to buy their brand of food and see THEIR vet. He said she was 100% healthy and 2 days later my vet said she had kennel cough. Treated that then several months (and seizures) later she was diagnosed with hereditary canine epilepsy. 2 years, roughly $5000 in vet bills and medication and too many sleepless nights to count later, she passed away from what was most likely (according to her vet) a brain tumor after a 48 hour cluster of seizures that could not be stopped.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. These puppies are extremely sick. I bought one puppy and he was put down because of a liver shunt that was never found. Per the vet-- It would have been found if he had been watched appropriately. They gave me a replacement puppy and THE SAME DAY I put down my first one, the vet had to keep her because they said she had the worst pneumonia they had ever seen. She was in the intensive care for over a week. A family friend got a dog when I got the first puppy and her dog also had pneumonia. Do NOT buy a puppy here.
Pet land of Dalton is a wonderful place to go for any animal need! They DO NOT get puppies from mills. They only work with the BEST breeders in the country. The employees are always helpful every time I go in there. Best place to get any type of dog.
This place should be CLOSED!! Not just the local store, the entire chain! If you're thinking about a pet Google Petland complaints before you buy one here and then go find a reputable breeder. You'll pay about the same and be glad you did!!!
