Mr. Wayne Johnson did not have an accepted contract on a home I had listed. His contract was in the process of negotiation, not accepted, when my seller received a better offer and accepted the better offer. Mr. Johnson submitted an offer that was contingent upon him selling his current home (which is STILL ON THE MARKET FOR SALE!!!) and it had a kick-off provision, as well, which means if my seller received a better offer he would have 48 hours to remove his contingency of having to sell his home in order to buy my seller's home. The offer my seller accepted, again, while Mr. Johnson's offer was still in the negotiation process (that means there was no binding agreement), was a full price cash offer with no contingencies whatsoever. So, my seller chose the cash offer. WOULDN'T YOU TAKE THE BETTER OFFER??? I MEAN, REALLY??? Immediately after I notified Mr. Johnson's "agent" that the home was under contract, she had him sign their contract which was null and void at this point.
Ann Bowman took a contract and removed ours that was signed with earnest money in place. I would avoid this person and I'll avoid Remax from this point forward. Contract in place and earnest money in hand, pics sent to corporate of the documents.
Mr. Wayne Johnson has bashed me for nearly a month over this. Enough is enough.
I and the RE/MAX office I work out of operate our sales business ethically and by the law. I do not believe in dishonesty and I certainly would not jeopardize my career and license nor my Broker's license by operating unethically.
