I am beyond angry. A mistake is one thing but this was not a mistake. Cutting off an entire foot of my hair when I asked for NONE to be cut off of the bottom is not a mistake.
Now, to the bad part. I went in there for LAYERS. I did not want a trim at the end. I specifically told her DO NOT CUT ANY OFF OF THE END. She said okay, she won't. So, how did my hair go from reaching my hips (over 2 feet of hair) to reaching just below my shoulders? How? How does that make any sense? I guess a friend of hers walked into the salon and she kept saying "but your hair is so beautiful, your hair is so beautiful why are you cutting it?" and the stylist, as she was chopping it all off, said "she's not getting it cut. It's just layers"...my sister and mother were there for proof and they kept making these horrified faces because she chopped off so much. I thought they were joking, but nope...they weren't.
Bad hair cut and waste of money it was my first and last time going to master cuts idk why I even went there in the first place horrible place to get your hair cut
Oh - and my sister initially went in for a cut too but after she saw what the stylist did to my hair she said she only wants to get her bangs cut. She charged my sister 16 bucks for cutting off a few centimeters of her bangs...ridiculous.
Worst experience ever. To begin with, we walked in and there was 1 stylist working there. Me, my sister and my mother came in for cuts. Another couple followed shortly. The place was totally understaffed.
If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

She was awful. And completely altered my physical appearance in a (negative) way that I could not have ever imagined.
My experience with Master Cuts was horrible. I had made an appointment in advance. When I arrived the ladies looked bothered and not in the mood to work. As I waited to be serviced I got looks of disgust from the hairdressers. I'm a proud Hispanic and I felt like I was looked down. I must have not been the time of customer she would have liked to have. Aside from feeling very uncomfortable, I sat down and the lady quickly said I can't cut your hair you have lice. I told her embarrassment* I have dandruff she told me to leave. I'm so embarrassed , if this honest reviews helps, I would recommend other hair salons. I was in need of a quick trim and decided to give them a shot. When in need of a trim or a cut visit places that make the service a pleasant experience.
Talk about understaffed. I've gone here three times in the last few weeks around lunch time and they never have more than one stylist. You'd think they would have at least two since I would expect that lunch is their busiest time during the week save for maybe the evening. And God forbid they get someone in who wants a color or perm. You might as well forget it. I will NEVER go back here and I suggest you don't waste your time either.
I sit in the chair and I ask her for advice. You would think someone who went to school (if she even did) would have some knowledge on what kind of bangs/styles suit what faces and such. I asked for her advice and it was evident from the get-go that she had no idea what she was doing. She totally ignored my question and starting cutting. She described how she was going to cut my bangs and she said "I don't know...I'm just going based off that photo you showed me" (mind you, I showed her a few different photos and asked for her opinion but she ignored it. I never actually chose a photo). Anyway, I agreed. I told her if that's what she thinks would look best then that's what I want.
