As a contractor I will not use this store because they do not accept checks. That is a major inconvience for a sub or contractor to not be able to use their business checks.
These folks are locally owned and everybody is friendly when I go in. I still sometimes end up at the Lowes or Home Depot but I always try Ace first.
I like Ace hardware because they know what they're talking about. I've gone into the big home improvement stores and a lot of the people that work there don't actually know much about the product ts they sell.
